THE 30-SECOND BRIEF
The board accepted a bid from BK General Contracting LLC, dba PDDM Construction, for the LPN/Computer Networking renovation. This project will update facilities used by the Licensed Practical Nursing and computer networking programs. Construction work is awarded, but this signals upcoming needs in furnishings, lab equipment, simulation tools, and IT infrastructure for the renovated spaces.
Facilities renovation contract is decided; follow-on purchases for program equipment and technology are likely as spaces are built out.
