THE 30-SECOND BRIEF
Sault Ste. Marie is funding an MDOT-let bridge maintenance project covering three structures, supported by federal and MDOT grants plus a local match. The capital worksheet shows a total project budget growing to about $575,000 by July 2026, with construction, a grant application line, and an OHM consulting contract funded. This is an active, grant-backed infrastructure project where the city and MDOT will rely on consulting, inspection, and construction support services as work advances and scopes adjust.
OHM is under contract for consulting services on Bridge Funding Project #0604, with consulting funding increased to $125,580 in the latest budget revision.
