From the meeting
Public comments repeatedly asked for a recycling center, recycling station, and yard waste disposal site in Torch Lake Township. The packet does not show a selected site or funding source, but the need is now on the planning record. A seller would want to follow the township's next discussion on solid-waste handling, site selection, and operating model.

What is a pre-RFP?
A pre-RFP is an early indicator that a government agency is planning a purchase — a project discussed in a board meeting, a budget line item, a new hire, or a grant award — captured before a formal RFP or bid is published. Acting on pre-RFPs gives SLED and B2G vendors months of lead time to build relationships and shape requirements.
When will Town of Torch Lake issue an RFP for this project?
Pre-RFPs typically surface 6–18 months before a formal solicitation is published. Civic IQ tracks Town of Torch Lake's meeting records, agendas, and budgets continuously and updates this pre-RFP as the project moves through the buying cycle toward an RFP.
How can vendors engage with Town of Torch Lake before the RFP is published?
Vendors who reach out during the planning window can help shape requirements and build relationships with the decision-makers running the project. A free Civic IQ account unlocks this pre-RFP's source document, forecasted RFP timing, and verified Town of Torch Lake decision-maker contacts.
