From the meeting
On September 22, 2026 Widseth submitted the 2027 Intended Use Plan request for Blackduck PS03 Sanitary Sewer Collection Improvements. The filing said the project was a subproject of the broader rehab collection and treatment effort and could seek alternate funding through the MPCA and PFA process. The estimated project cost was $4,410,000, with plans and specs targeted for April 2, 2027 and bid opening June 21, 2027.
This is a strong grant-driven infrastructure lead with a defined funding path and schedule.

Acting on pre-RFPs gives SLED and B2G vendors months of lead time to build relationships and shape requirements.
