From the meeting
On September 15, 2026 the council approved the purchase of Quail Park rodeo bleachers. City staff said Arizona State Parks funding covered the $46,000 purchase and community partners would help with installation. The new bleachers will add 127 seats and are part of a larger event-center buildout.
The project is approved, but engineered covered seating and installation remain possible follow-on opportunities.
