From the meeting

On October 1, 2026 the PRAB adopted Resolution 26-01PRAB supporting the City's pursuit of an expanded railroad corridor study through the Request for Proposals process. The recommended study would run from South Palmer Station to Eagle Avenue and look at pedestrian and bicycle connectivity, trails, recreation, public access, safe crossings, and neighborhood links. The procurement is not yet awarded, so the next step is the RFP and council/admin action.

What is a pre-RFP?

A pre-RFP is an early indicator that a government agency is planning a purchase — a project discussed in a board meeting, a budget line item, a new hire, or a grant award — captured before a formal RFP or bid is published. Acting on pre-RFPs gives SLED and B2G vendors months of lead time to build relationships and shape requirements.
