From the meeting
On August 11, 2026 staff shared a draft Green Building Guide for Electrification, including updated heat pump and induction stove pages, survey input from HVAC and mechanical contractors, and draft handout and social media graphics. The guide was not yet live, and staff planned to incorporate edits before promoting it in the newsletter and on social media. The Village also discussed future guides for weatherization and green building materials.
The signal is an active public-facing sustainability education effort tied to electrification and building practices.
