From the meeting
Director Sarah Bentley said new Recreation and Enrichment Coordinator Bekah Stoffer is creating a coaches training program for volunteers after attending coaches' mentorship training. The item is not a procurement yet, but it signals a new program structure and a likely need for training design or facilitation support. The buying trigger is the department's push to build out volunteer coach development.

A pre-RFP is an early indicator that a government agency is planning a purchase — a project discussed in a board meeting, a budget line item, a new hire, or a grant award — captured before a formal RFP or bid is published. Acting on pre-RFPs gives SLED and B2G vendors months of lead time to build relationships and shape requirements.
