From the meeting
Dick Clark Productions is seeking City approval to host the 84th Annual Golden Globes at the Beverly Hilton on January 10, 2027. The request includes street and sidewalk closures, setup starting December 26, 2026, strike ending January 15, 2027, and a waiver of about $70,000 in event and filming permit fees. The vote is still pending, so the event logistics and permit package are still open.
The City Engineer must approve traffic control plans before the event.
