THE 30-SECOND BRIEF
The City is seeking preliminary design services for the Goose Egg Park sanitary sewer improvement project (Project J7867 / DT-07-1028). WHKS has outlined a scope to upsize 15" and 24" sewer mains to 21" and 30" and replace utilities, ADA walks, and roadways from 5th Street & 4th Avenue NW to 12th Street & 2nd Avenue NW. This is a planning and design phase, with future feasibility and construction phases anticipated. Firms offering utility design, sewer construction, geotechnical, stormwater, and environmental services can prepare to support later phases and subconsulting needs.
Several services (land surveys, geotechnical, utility relocation coordination, stormwater report, Phase 1 environmental review) are explicitly excluded and may be contracted under future agreements.

Acting on pre-RFPs gives SLED and B2G vendors months of lead time to build relationships and shape requirements.
