From the meeting

CTDOT revised the Install New Variable Message Signs project to $20,046,000. The project will install approximately 12 new Variable Message Signs on various routes statewide to provide motorist information on road conditions and congestion and support construction and maintenance work. FHWA deemed the project eligible for CMAQ funds on 6/30/26.

The October 2026 amendment shifted construction funding to FY2029, and CN was anticipated to take two seasons.
