From the meeting
Council's Finance Committee planned a meeting to discuss RITA after learning the city's income tax program would remain viable for a little longer. Finance Chair Lohnes said he spoke with North Canton Finance Director Gina Alabach and her assistant Jim Bertovich, who recommended RITA based on North Canton using it for 10 years. The discussion also touched on the non-filer program and state and IRS reporting.
This was discussed on October 5, 2026; no action was taken.
