From the meeting
P. , Inc. for Miracle of Hickory Park improvements.
The project includes accessibility and amenity upgrades, parking improvements, accessible routes and restrooms, a shaded pavilion, an accessible stage, and related furnishings and landscaping. The NC Division of Park and Recreation had already awarded matching grant funding, and Benesch completed design and permitting in June 2025. The procurement was effectively down to the contractor award vote, so the remaining opportunity is construction execution.
