From the meeting
Council was scheduled on October 13, 2026 to approve Special Event Permit 2026-021 for Warkworth Magic Under the Stars. The permit covered road closure of Main Street, use of the municipal table and chair trailer, two additional garbage receptacles, and a waived $500 plus HST trailer fee as an in-kind contribution. The event dates were December 11 and 18, 2026, so the operational buying signal is about temporary event services and municipal support already being organized.
