THE 30-SECOND BRIEF
CORE Charter School will use $100,000 in Learning Recovery and Emergency Block Grant (LREBG) funds in 2026/27 to expand academic intervention, especially in math and literacy. Planned services include small-group instruction, tutoring (in-person and virtual), summer math and writing camps, and clearer entry/exit criteria for interventions. This is an evidence-based, grant-funded program where outside curriculum, intervention platforms, and PD vendors can support execution and monitoring.
Interventions will be monitored via CA Dashboard and CAASPP ELA/Math metrics; focus on students in Low/Very Low performance levels.

Questions about this project
What is a pre-RFP?
A pre-RFP is an early indicator that a government agency is planning a purchase — a project discussed in a board meeting, a budget line item, a new hire, or a grant award — captured before a formal RFP or bid is published. Acting on pre-RFPs gives SLED and B2G vendors months of lead time to build relationships and shape requirements.
When will CORE Charter District issue an RFP for this project?
Pre-RFPs typically surface 6–18 months before a formal solicitation is published. Civic IQ tracks CORE Charter District's meeting records, agendas, and budgets continuously and updates this pre-RFP as the project moves through the buying cycle toward an RFP.
How can vendors engage with CORE Charter District before the RFP is published?
Vendors who reach out during the planning window can help shape requirements and build relationships with the decision-makers running the project. A free Civic IQ account unlocks this pre-RFP's source document, forecasted RFP timing, and verified CORE Charter District decision-maker contacts.
