THE 30-SECOND BRIEF
College of the Siskiyous is developing a new Pre-Allied Health Certificate of Achievement, planned to start in Fall 2026, with board and external approvals still pending. The program bundles biology, chemistry, kinesiology, nursing terminology, math, and English courses to prepare students for allied health programs at COS and transfer schools. As they finalize curriculum and prepare to track outcomes for 90+ students a year, the college may need curriculum design support, advising tools, lab resources, and allied health instructional materials to stand up the program.
Program status is listed as In development with no curriculum committee, board, or external approval dates recorded yet.

Questions about this project
What is a pre-RFP?
A pre-RFP is an early indicator that a government agency is planning a purchase — a project discussed in a board meeting, a budget line item, a new hire, or a grant award — captured before a formal RFP or bid is published. Acting on pre-RFPs gives SLED and B2G vendors months of lead time to build relationships and shape requirements.
When will College Of The Siskiyous issue an RFP for this project?
Pre-RFPs typically surface 6–18 months before a formal solicitation is published. Civic IQ tracks College Of The Siskiyous's meeting records, agendas, and budgets continuously and updates this pre-RFP as the project moves through the buying cycle toward an RFP.
How can vendors engage with College Of The Siskiyous before the RFP is published?
