From the meeting
At the September 22, 2026 meeting, property owner Tyler Hopper sought to rezone 612 Summit Road from LI to BG so he could build a mini-storage facility and keep the front building as a contractor's office. Staff said no plans had been submitted yet, and the Board only discussed the concept. The rezoning would open a private development path with future site design and construction decisions still ahead.
The applicant would need to reapply and return to the Board and Council.
