At the October 27, 2026 work session, Council received an update on Luray Caverns Corporation's request to vacate the public right-of-way of Cave Hill Road. The October 14, 2026 letter asked the Town to close the road segment and said the corporation would design, construct, and dedicate a cul-de-sac turnaround, reserve utility easements, and coordinate final construction plans, permits, and a Maintenance of Traffic plan.
