From the meeting
At the October 22, 2026 work session, City Manager David Brooks said the Senior Center Design Build Services Bid had been awarded in March of this past year. He said the hired contractor and architect team was almost finished with the plans and showed elevations and floor plans for the building. Brooks added that a guaranteed maximum price would come back for a vote before construction begins.
The minutes did not record a new award, only progress on the existing project.
