From the meeting
At the October 22, 2026 meeting the Risk Management Committee reported that it approved proposed changes to the Due Diligence Process. The change was prompted by CMEEC's discussions about service offerings to third parties to assist with their Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) Order No. 881 obligations and the approvals and due diligence steps such offerings require.
Staff said it was also working to assign and develop separate process documents tied to the Enterprise Risk Management Policy (ERMP).
