From the meeting
At the October 13, 2026 closed session, the council discussed a dispute over the Public Works construction contract for the Senior Housing Electrical, Bid Set 'D' project, No. Z20026. Siepker Electric said it was owed additional compensation for labor, materials, and lost profits after the City terminated the contract for convenience.
The claim was disputed by staff, so the item signals active contract administration and possible follow-on negotiations or legal work.
