From the meeting

At the October 12, 2026 meeting, John Cannon said a 12-inch waterline in an easement connecting to Odell Drive had been offline for five to ten years and was now above ground after storm damage. He said restoring it would improve water pressure and volume for the Odell area and Highway 87 corridor and help fire suppression. He also said he and Dennis English had discussed possible FEMA funding to repair the line.

Decision state: the repair need was discussed and funding was only being explored.

What is a pre-RFP?

A pre-RFP is an early indicator that a government agency is planning a purchase — a project discussed in a board meeting, a budget line item, a new hire, or a grant award — captured before a formal RFP or bid is published. Acting on pre-RFPs gives SLED and B2G vendors months of lead time to build relationships and shape requirements.
