From the meeting
At the August 3-6, 2026 field report for the Tyrone Water System Improvements, SmithCo Construction continued installing 6-inch C-900 water main, fire hydrants, gate valves, tees, and bends on Malachite Ave, Copper Ct, Copper Dr, Cuprite St, and Tenorite Ct. Work already had to be adjusted in the field around utilities, a street sign, an ADA ramp, and a light pole. Summit Testing took backfill density tests and all tests passed.
The work is underway, so the useful sales angle is follow-on construction support, utility coordination, and closeout/inspection services.
