From the meeting
At the August 25, 2026 meeting, the committee outlined a sustainability event focused on heat pumps, home energy efficiency, geothermal systems, solar energy, and other emerging technologies. Staff noted the city should pursue partners to hold the event and aim for an educational presentation or panel during the upcoming winter. The work is still being shaped and has not moved to a vendor selection.
A partner list or speaker lineup would be the next useful detail for outreach.
