From the meeting
At the August 17, 2026 meeting, Joplin approved an agreement and work authorization with Finkle + Williams Architecture for site layout design and evaluation services for the Public Works Center campus. The not-to-exceed amount was $236,140, funded from a $300,000 budget for design and consulting services. Staff said the 1980s campus needs modernization, rehabilitation, and a comprehensive assessment to guide future capital improvements.
This is early-stage work that can lead into later design, phasing, and construction.
