From the meeting
At its September 8, 2026 meeting, the council authorized Mayor Howes to sign a proposed interlocal agreement (ILA) with the City of Medina Public Works, after the termination clause is clarified, the Town Engineer is added as an authorized requester, and AWC is consulted. The town does not have its own public works department, so this is a real services pathway, not just a policy discussion. The agreement was still being refined, but the buying decision was effectively made and the final paperwork remained pending.
