From the meeting
At its September 28, 2026 meeting the board approved an Early Childhood Initiative 2026-2028 subcontract agreement between Northland Foundation and ISD 2909. The district also approved a related 2026-2027 Northeastern Minnesota Family, Friend, and Neighbor Child Care Provider Outreach and Support Initiative subcontract. These are grant-backed service agreements with an identified outside partner and a multi-year term, which creates implementation and renewal intelligence for early childhood providers and support vendors.
