From the meeting

At its September 22, 2026 special Executive Committee meeting, ERMA discussed a request for proposals (RFP) for General and Coverage Counsel. Staff said Board Counsel Doug Alliston planned to resign no later than September 30, 2026, and the Board President had authorized the RFP. The RFP was sent to six law firms on July 15, 2026 and no responses were received.

Staff then contacted Sloan Sakai Yeung & Wong LLP for General Counsel services and Pollak, Vida & Barer for Coverage Counsel, with a written proposal still pending from the latter.
