From the meeting
At its September 17, 2026 meeting, the council authorized the mayor to submit a declaration of intent and grant application for a Morris County Heritage Commission re-grant award. The borough plans to buy a book scanner, laptop, and video conferencing camera for L'Ecole, the Kinnelon Museum. The requested grant amount is $3,450, and the committee said the equipment would support digitizing over 360 local history items and hybrid access.
The purchase is still contingent on the grant award.
