From the meeting
At its September 16, 2026 meeting, the board considered recognizing Pershing County Frontier Days as the sole organizing body for the annual Frontier Days celebration. The group, represented by Dan Murphy and Roger Mancebo, said it plans to pursue public and private funding, sponsorships, grants, and partnerships. This is not a contract award, but it creates a clear point of contact for event support, sponsorship, and event-related services.
