From the meeting
At its September 15, 2026 meeting, the board considered Resolution 26-10 for the Holden Beach Canal Maintenance Dredging Project. 705 million project to dredge about 30,000 cubic yards from Holden Beach Harbor, Heritage Harbor, and Harbor Acres. The application listed a 11/1/2026 to 6/1/2027 contract window and DA 292 as the disposal area.
This is a grant-driven path to funded dredging, with the next conversation likely around grant award, disposal fees, and construction readiness.
