From the meeting
At its September 15, 2026 meeting, the board approved Option B for Friday Night on White, reducing the 2027 schedule from six events to four in April, May, September, and October. Staff said the change was driven by staffing strain, heat, safety concerns, and long-term sustainability. The town also discussed sponsorship planning, volunteer help, and outside personnel.
This matters for event-production vendors, sponsors, and staffing partners because the format and calendar were already being reset for 2027.
