At its October 26, 2026 meeting, SCRCOG authorized the Executive Director to execute an agreement with CT DESPP for the Public Safety Answering Points consolidation feasibility study. The resolution says Public Act 26-68, as amended by Public Act 26-76, directed OPM to distribute $250,000 to SCRCOG for the study, and OPM was transferring administration of the RPIP funds to DESPP. The budget revision also added $250,000 of RPIP revenue and $75,000 for other consultants, with $175,000 reserved for future fiscal years.
