From the meeting
At its October 22, 2026 meeting, staff briefed council on proposed 2027 World Cup event partnerships around Warm Springs and downtown Ketchum. The city estimated about $200,000 of in-kind and direct spending for road closures, public safety, transit, communications, and event support, with a council decision planned for November 12, 2026. Organic Events was presented as the local production partner for the downtown programming, so the opportunity is still open and moving toward a decision.
