From the meeting
At its October 21, 2026 meeting, the Mayor and Council authorized an application to the New Jersey Urban Enterprise Zone (UEZ) Assistance Fund for $19,567. The request was for the Guttenberg 2026 UEZ Winter Wonderland Display, described as holiday decor on the streets within the UEZ. The resolution said the state UEZ Authority meets monthly to approve projects and that approved funds would come directly from the state.

A pre-RFP is an early indicator that a government agency is planning a purchase — a project discussed in a board meeting, a budget line item, a new hire, or a grant award — captured before a formal RFP or bid is published. Acting on pre-RFPs gives SLED and B2G vendors months of lead time to build relationships and shape requirements.
