From the meeting

At its October 20, 2026 meeting, the Little Rock Board of Directors amended the police pension ordinance to add a $400 per month benefit increase for eligible retirees and survivors beginning January 1, 2027. The city manager was authorized to enter an irrevocable agreement with LOPFI on a 13-year amortization schedule. The ordinance also requires recurring three-year reviews and an emergency clause says the action had to be completed by October 31, 2026.
