From the meeting
At its October 20, 2026 meeting, the board considered a 2027 international service learning field trip to the Dominican Republic. The district said it had partnered with Education First (EF) for the past four years, and the trip was tentatively scheduled for March 7-13, 2027. The 8th-grade travel program is already shaped, but the source does not show a procurement decision beyond the proposed approval.
The named partner and timing create follow-on value for travel, student program, and trip-support vendors.
