From the meeting
At its October 19, 2026 meeting, the selectboard discussed the Bliss Pond Road culvert replacement. The culvert was overwhelmed by the 2023 and 2024 floods and was replaced in 2023 with a same-sized culvert, but a hydraulic study said it should be upgraded. The town received a State Structures Grant award in 2024, but the local match was not budgeted and the grant expired.
Toby will contact the state stream alteration permit officer about alternatives given the town's funding constraints.
