From the meeting
At its October 19, 2026 meeting, the committee reviewed Planned Sign Program P-PSP2026-0001 for the approved mall expansion at The Shops at Mission Viejo. Jocelyn Gubler of Simon Property Group presented the sign package for the mall entrance, tenant signs, digital and static directories, ride share pylons, wall identifiers, murals, and blade signs. Staff said the program was in line with City sign standards and will be reviewed and approved at the staff level.
The mural on the North Italia building was discussed as something to remove from the program.
