From the meeting
At its October 14, 2026 meeting the Town of Thunderbolt approved Resolution 2026-03 to transmit the Town of Thunderbolt Comprehensive Plan 2021-2041 to the Coastal Regional Commission and the Georgia Department of Community Affairs. The town said it was updating the plan to maintain Qualified Local Government status and had already held the required public hearings. This points to future land-use, infrastructure, and capital priorities that vendors can help shape as the plan moves toward review and adoption.
