From the meeting

At its October 13, 2026 meeting, the Selectboard discussed the dangerous VT Route 63, Miller Road, and Miller Road Extension intersection after 73 crashes and one fatality. Director of Public Works Josh Martineau said the intersection likely needs a major reconfiguration such as an on/off ramp, bridge, tunnel, or other substantial change. The Board reached consensus to send a letter to VTTrans and ask for short-term safety fixes while a permanent solution is explored.

This is still open planning, with state coordination and possible larger funding still ahead.

A pre-RFP is an early indicator that a government agency is planning a purchase — a project discussed in a board meeting, a budget line item, a new hire, or a grant award — captured before a formal RFP or bid is published. Acting on pre-RFPs gives SLED and B2G vendors months of lead time to build relationships and shape requirements.
