From the meeting
At its October 13, 2026 meeting, the commissioners approved increasing the MVC private pay daily rate from $410 to $425 effective January 1, 2027. MVC Administrator Rich Leboeuf said the change would add about $181,000 in 2027 revenue and make the rate all-inclusive so families would no longer receive separate bills for supplies, telephone, cable, and similar items. The county said there were currently 42 private pay residents at MVC.
The motion passed 2-1.
