From the meeting
At its October 13, 2026 meeting, the board rejected the only proposal for the Manager of Shipyard Workforce Development Training Program from Safety and Fire Consulting Corporation and authorized re-procurement. The rejected RFP covered instructors and certifications for shipyard, marine, industrial coating, rigging, crane operations, confined space entry, quality assurance, and high-pressure water blasting. This is now an open opportunity.
