From the meeting
At its November 4, 2026 meeting, the CAC received an update that installation and implementation of the new CAD/AVL system, Equans, began on September 9, 2026. Equans installed new hardware on 59 Vine Transit vehicles over about five weeks, with remaining work on two Gilligs and two new BYD buses still to be completed. NVTA and Transdev staff received training on the software and hardware.
The report said initial results show better vehicle tracking and real-time data, and staff will continue working with Equans on improvements.
