From the meeting
At its November 3, 2026 meeting, the Committee of the Whole reviewed a request to support a Build Communities Strong Fund (BCSF) - Local Impact Stream grant application for a memorial garden in the center of town. The Town said it needs a Class C design to make the project 'shovel ready,' and that design work was expected to cost $8,000 from the 2026 Parks budget. The grant intake period ran from October 28 to December 9, 2026.
The recommendation was to support the application and transfer the $8,000.
