At its May 27, 2026 meeting, the Commission heard that the Governor's Office of Workforce Innovation will roll out the new Workforce Pell Program on July 1, 2026. The program will start with public institutions and then expand to private postsecondary institutions. CPE was asked to help vet institutional programs before submission to the Governor.
