From the meeting
At its July 7, 2026 workshop, Quincy Township Supervisor Kurt Barve raised the idea of replacing the basement library office setup with shared office space under one roof. Council agreed it was a good idea to combine office space and formed a building committee with two township board members and two village council members. The proposal is still conceptual, but it points to future space planning, office buildout, and shared-facility spending.
Next steps are committee concepts before any site or construction decision.

A pre-RFP is an early indicator that a government agency is planning a purchase — a project discussed in a board meeting, a budget line item, a new hire, or a grant award — captured before a formal RFP or bid is published. Acting on pre-RFPs gives SLED and B2G vendors months of lead time to build relationships and shape requirements.
