From the meeting
At its July 29, 2026 meeting, the council discussed long-term planning for state outdoor education curricula and designation programs with the North American Association for Environmental Education (NAAEE). Denise Beronio and Holly Holwager planned to meet with NAAEE and David Beard about possible NAAEE membership and support. Julie Bless also circulated a one- to five-year goals white paper for review.
This is an open planning signal around program design and technical assistance, not a procurement.
