From the meeting

At its July 20, 2026 meeting, the City Council authorized advertising for bids for the Prairie Park Shelter Renovation Project. Alternate bids were also being taken for the scoreboard, concrete improvements west of the shelter, concrete improvements east of the shelter, and a new bathroom design. Bid opening was planned for the end of November with council review in December.

The work was still open and bidding was prolonged to gather more bathroom options.
