From the meeting
At its August 24, 2026 work session, the board discussed next steps for the Amelia-Nottoway Technical Center (ANTC) and the future of career and technical education (CTE) at its current location. Dr. Martin said the 1977 agreement may no longer fit current needs, and the center currently has no principal and is looking to hire an interim principal for the 2026-27 school year.
The board wanted Dr. Martin to present objectives and a timeline at the August 27 joint meeting.
